Reporting

Be informed about you floor machines

Clear reporting of floor machine repairs turns technical work into information the customer can actually use. A good report starts with the basics: machine ID (make, model, serial number), customer, date, hours on the meter, and the complaint or symptoms as described by the operator. Then it lists what was found during inspection - both the root cause and related wear items - using plain language rather than only part numbers. Separating inspection notes from approved repair work makes it obvious what was observed and what the customer chose to fix this time. The second part of the report focuses on work performed, parts used, and test results. Each repair line shows the task, the parts installed and labor time. A brief functional test record documents that the machine was verified under operating conditions. Finally, the report includes recommendations for future maintenance or upcoming wear items and note the warranty on parts and labor.
